Your words mount up with the wings of eagles
and speak to the very deepest part of my being
like healing balm they touch the very heart of me
softly written, carefully chosen, nuggets of gold
like was buried and hidden in the pyramids of old
a rare treasure of letters and syllables before me
the essence of a living life, oh how they infold me
your words, your words, what they have told me
about you, the one who wrote them, now I see
your words, your writing, your words, all of thee
