Like an angel in flight
the sound of your voice
and the lyrics of your song
race through my mind
on this dark and lonely night
now with the melody soaring
and with the music roaring
your words are calling to me
taking me higher and higher
into a jet stream of delight
oh the shear bliss of it all
as I beckon to your call
never sensing how high I am
having no fear of falling
as I answer your calling
